Restoration and re-ordering update
We hoped to start work on the re-ordering in January but the Faculty (Planning Consent) has been delayed due to The Georgian Society who was concerned about our proposed plans to screen the Gallery front.
Thankfully we have managed to resolve these issues and we are waiting for the Chancellor of the Diocese to give his consent for work to proceed.
We were fortunate to receive a Grant from the Central Church Fund but we are still estimating a shortfall of around £25,000 on the Project.
If you would like to make a donation please make cheques payable to Wrockwardine Wood PCC and Gift Aid Envelopes can be obtained from the Rectory.
All being well, work will commence before Easter and regular updates will be posted on the Church Notice Board.
180th Anniversary of Wrockwardine Wood CofE School
This year marks the 180th Anniversary of the CofE School in Wrockwardine Wood.
A series of events are planned to mark this historic and significant milestone.
If you attended either the Glass House or the CofE Junior School we would be interested in hearing from you as we intend to record people’s reminiscences.
A birthday party will take place on Thursday 8th July at 3.30pm at the CofE School that will be open to all ex pupils and our guest speaker that day will be Frank Field MP.
Family Service at Holy Trinity
We try very hard at Holy Trinity to make worship accessible to people regardless of where they are on their journey of faith.
Please note that a Family Service lasting no more than 45 minutes takes place on the 1st Sunday of the Month at 11am.
Parents are not to feel self-conscious about the noise of their children as this is encouraged!
Tea and cake are served after the Service so if that’s not an incentive to come!
Ordination and Confirmation at Holy Trinity
We are delighted to welcome The Rt. Revd Mark Rylands, Bishop of Shrewsbury to Holy Trinity on Saturday 19th June for the Salop Ordinations and to a Confirmation on Sunday 11th July.

EASTER 2010
Because of Re-ordering work all Easter Services this year may well take place at Holy Trinity Oakengates.
The one Service that will take place in the Parish is the Palm Sunday Walk of Witness on Sunday 28th March.
As always we will follow the donkey and this year will start at St Matthew’s Donnington Wood at 3pm and conclude at St Luke’s School at around 4pm.
Holy Trinity is looking forward to working more closely with Our Lady of the Rosary now that their new church will be built in the Parish in the coming days.
A list of all Easter Services will be posted on the Church Notice Board and will also be found in the Telford Journal.
